Sean Lardo has been contemplating on the hot dog vending business since he was in the military in his early twenties. With a lot of saving and hard work, he was able to make his dream of a family business a reality. "I have always wanted a family business to pass down to our daughters." - says Sean.
Sean Lardo has been contemplating on the hot dog vending business since he was in the military in his early twenties. In 2010, Sean and his wife, Jaime, purchased the Hot Dog Cart. Not
only did they see success, they realized a touch of fame. King Ding
Dong's was called upon by ABC Family Network to be in the feature musical film
"Elixir". The film should be released sometime this year.
If you are familiar with King Ding Dong's, you may have seen the Lardo girls serving the gourmet dogs. Each of the employees have been thoroughly trained by Sean and/or Jaime with their custom step-by-step process.
"This year will be the best in business yet." The Lardo's are currently booked for the Sewickely summer festival and light up night there in the fall. They will also be a Reilly's Summer Seat Farm for the Pumpkin Patch Tour this October.
